True Indie Media apps do not collect any user data, nor do they send data to any third party for retention.
In the event of an app failure (crash) Apple devices may automatically generate diagnostic information which is sent to Apple to help better-understand the causes of a failure. These "Diagnostic Logs" can contain generic information about your device as well as information of what the software was doing at the time of the crash. If sent to Apple, these Logs can be made available to app developers.
